Magic Slide for the ps2
The Magic Slide for the PS2 - Often called the Playstation 2 Slide Card allows you to play all import and backup PS2 games without a mod chip. All you need is the pS2 Slide Card and the Ultimate Swap Disc and you can play all import and backup games just as you would with a mod chip - except that you don't need to do any complicated wiring or installation of any kind.
You do need both the Magic Slide Card for the PS2 as well as the Ultimate Swap Disc, as these two products work in tandem with each other in order to allow you to play all types of PS2 games, without the need for installing any type of mod chip into your console.

Or better yet, we recommend either the Swap Magic or the Ultimate Swap Disc. Both of which make swapping your import or ps2 backup games much easier and staright forward. If you're into game codes and cheats, don't fret, the Gameshark will still work for you, and the Ultimate Swap Disc also has a gameshark compatible cheat code program built right into the software, so you'll not be without your abilities to "cheat"
While you could Swap PS2 Games with Gameshark - you'll have to go through numerous steps in order to do so, and you'll have to swap at excatly the right time. Both the Swap Magic and the Ultimate Swap take care of this situation by making it possible for you to know exactly when you need to stop - because the disc will have stopped spinning.
Now, bear in mind, just as if you would Swap PS2 Games with Gameshark discs, you'll still need either a Slide Card or Slim Tool or a PS2 Flip Top in order to be able to do your game swapping - this is a must, and without these additional add ons, you won't be able to play your import or backup games.
