Shipping And Emails to Resume after Office Flood.

As stated in an earlier blog post. Our staff here at PS2Cover.com have had the unfortunately experience of having our office flood due to heavy rains and a leak in the roof of our office building. Thankfully, no records were lost or damaged, but our office was essentially unworkable for a period of 7 days. For this reason we have not been able to respond as swiftly to our email inquiries from our valued customers and our shipping times have been delayed by 7 working days.

Thankfully, we will be able to resume normal operations starting tomorrow afternoon, and will begin to immediately pick, pack and ship customer orders as well as respond to customer inquires as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your patience and your business during this time. For those of our new customers who were affected - we apologize for any inconvenience caused. A large number of you with the longest delays will receive a suprise in your parcel from PS2Cover.com

Thank you again.

Your PS2Cover.com Team....

Xbox 360 Mods

There are numerous Xbox 360 Mods on the market today. Listing each one of them would only bring on a wave of confusion and undecidedness. For this reason we'll focus right now on only one of Xbox 360 Mods. The All360 Xbox 360 Mods are virtually identical to the Globe360 mod chips. They enable your Xbox 360 to play all kinds of games, including import and backup games.
Unlike many of the Xbox 360 Mods on the market, that are mainly just firmware upgrades to your console, rendering them unuseable on Xbox live marketplace or Xbox live multi player sessions. The All360 modchips are actually chips that are universal and undetectable to the Xbox live system. This is because they do not actually update your firmware in way, shape or form, and only inject code to the Xbox 360 when it is required, then turning themselves off again - as if there was no xbox 360 mod chip installed.
For this reason, when you're looking at all of the Xbox 360 Mod Chips available. We would strongly urge you to look at the All360 or Glove 360 modchips. You'll save yourself a lot fo headaches and also from potentially being blocked from Xbox Live (the heart of online gaming when it comes to Xbox) and allow you to continue to play all of your games.

Flip Top Cover

When looking for ways to play import games without a mod chip - there are really only 2 different options available - both of them equally good, quick, and easy to do.

The first option available is the Flip Top Cover for the Playstation 2. Whether you need a flip top cover for the older, thicker Playstation 2 consoles, or the newer slim ps2 flip top cover which works the same as the older model.

You can't however use the flip top cover on its own. You need to combine the flip top cover with a swap magic disc or an ultimate swap disc. Using these two together enables you to load your import and backup games without the need for any internal mod chip or wiring inside the Playstation 2 system.

IN fact, if you can use a screw driver, you can use the flip top cover ... Find out more about the flip top cover , the swap magic or the ultimate swap disc by checking out http://www.ps2cover.com

Swap Disc Wii - A Nintendo Wii Swap Disc

Are you looking for a Swap Disc for the Nintendo Wii ? If so, we regret to inform you that there is no such Swap Disc for Wii at all. Unlike the Playstation 2 which has the Swap Magic Discs which enable gamers to play import and backup games for their PS2 console - without the need for a mod chip. The Swap Disc for Wii just does not exist.

While a Wii Swap Disc would truly be something we would carry, in a heartbeat of course. There simply is no outlook for a Wii Swap Disc. The reason for this is that all Nintendo Wii Mod Chips are just Drive Chips. By this we mean that they control and send information to the DVD Rom drive in the Nintendo Wii console, as opposed to working with or writing to the BIOS chip of the Wii. A Swap Disc for the Wii would require some work to more intimately interact with the actual Bios of the Wii console.

While we won't rule a Swap Disc Wii Edition - we don't see this item as something that is as yet possible. Even booting simply Homebrew games on the Wii still require quite a bit of work, and for this reason - a Swap Disc Wii Version is not something that we see as being available any time in the near future.

For this reason we suggest to all of our customers either the WiiKey mod chip for the Wii or the Cyclowiz Mod chip for the Nintendo Wii, both of which allows playing of import and backup Wii games quickly and easily.

The modbo 4.0 is the only PS2 Modchip with the version 4.0. It is a truly a universal ps2 modchip in that it works in all ps2 mod chip system world wide, released to date.

Wiikey Mod Chip Install

Installing the WiiKey Mod Chip into your Nintendo Wii is quick and painless. We liken it to the original PSOne mod chip installation where you have to solder only a few wires in order to attach the chip to the Nintendo Wii main board.

The Wiikey Mod Chip Install consists of 2 types of installation. You are able to use the Quick Solder pads for installation. And while this is a no wires required type of installation, it also means that removing the WiiKey mod chip from your Nintendo Wii will be far more difficult than it would be had you used wires.

For this reason, we are including a FREE Wire kit for the WiiKey Mod Chip Install to all of our customers who order the WiiKey from PS2Cover.com

The Wire kit for the WiiKey enables you to use wires instead of the quick solder pads for installation of your modchip. This method of installation, while requiring the use of wires is actually a lot easier to install into your Nintendo Wii than the quick solder method. It also allows you the flexibility to painlessly remove the WiiKey mod chip from your console at a later date, should you choose to do so.

You'll receive 5 color coded wires to make installation of your wiikey a breeze. These wires are pre-cut, pre-tinned and ready to solder to both the WiiKey mod chip as well as your Nintendo Wii Motherboard. Installation couldn't be easier.

With the easy to follow installation diagram, you'll also have a clear picture of where each wire has to go on your Nintendo Wii console.

Also online are our Nintendo Wii Disassembly Instructions, detailing to you step by step on how to take apart your Nintendo Wii Console for quick installation, showing you where each screw is "hidden" and by following the disassembly instructions in reverse, you're able to put your Nintendo Wii back to gether again, quickly and easily.

Swap Magic Download - Does it Work?

Some months ago I wrote the first article about the release of 3 different Nintendo Wii Mod Chips. Being a homebrew fan myself, it was hard to hide my enthusiasm when it came to these Wii mod chips simply because I have been a fan of homebrew games - and more importantly import games, since the days of the good old Nintendo Entertainment system. While it took only a little bit of cutting with an exacto knife back then to play the latest Japanese games on my North American Nintendo Entertainment system, I've pretty much done whatever I needed to do to be able to play those games. Including installing a mod chip in virtually every game system that needed one since then.

In the next few days, I'll be covering some of the newest Nintendo Wii Mod chips that have just come out to market. Including on chip, the WiiXT, which claims to also offer DVD playback on your Nintendo Wii.
