The Nintendo Wii Isn't Just For Kids And Grandparents. Take a Look at Manhunt 2

While many gamers sit and think of their Nintendo Wii as yet another way to play some new installments of Super Mario Brothers, Zelda, and various other "kiddie" type games. Nintendo has a lot more planned for the Nintendo Wii than we think. Not only will they be bringing more and more of their staple characters to the Wii, but they're also expanding and reaching out to a much more mature audience with games that are, well, all grown up.

When the new Metroid game is released for the Wii later this year, we'll have a very good idea of just what the technological power is that makes the Wii what it is. Undoubtedly it is at LEAST twice as powerful, both processor wise, and graphically than the Gamecube was. But with Manhunt 2, we're really in for a "treat"

Take a look at some of the screenshots to get an idea of just how serious this game will be. Graphically it's not up to par with games like Gears of War for Xbox 360, but it'll give grown ups some serious, and thrilling action on their new Nintendo Console.

For Metroid Fans... The game will first be released in Japan, as seems to be the case with most of Nintendo's major titles... But you'll be able to play this import nintendo wii game with no problem, providing you get your hands on a Nintendo Wii Mod Chip like the Wiikey
